Terms & Conditions

Update the Terms & Conditions template or use your own.

Add Terms & Conditions to your estimates, quotes, and invoices to inform your customers of the business terms they agree to as part of hiring you. Ensure you cover yourself by specifying your rules of engagement and clarifying with your client exactly what they can expect from you.

Toolbot enables you to create separate terms each for an estimate, quote, and invoice. You can adjust the default text we have included to get you started, or you can add your own.

Good to know: Adding terms and conditions to your estimates, quotes, and invoices will cover you if you run into any disagreements with your customers about the work they expected and what you delivered.

Updating the Templates

Toolbot automatically includes terms and conditions templates for you to adapt to your business, or you can use your own wording.

To customise the terms and conditions, click Settings on the main menu on the left-hand side of the Toolbot screen. Then, click the Terms & Conditions tab.

This opens the editor, and you can click on Estimates, Quotes, or Invoices to expand each editor and amend the text.

If you decide to use a template, be sure to read it carefully, and update the bold text to customise the wording to your business and trade.
