Welcome to your Toolbot dashboard where you will gain instant insight into your business and dive straight into action. From your dashboard, you can quickly jump into important tasks by creating estimates, quotes, or invoices, updating jobs already in progress, creating appointments, or managing your address book or price lists.
If you have just created your account, you will be greeted by the Toolbot welcome screen. From here, you can click on the Build my price list button, or click on any of the menu links to begin adding customers, creating your prices lists, or editing your profile.
Be sure to follow our recommendations to Customise Your Account before you start.
To change the Dashboard view, use the time select list to update the items shown on your Dashboard from the default view of Last 3 months, to Last 7 days, Last 2 Weeks, Last month, Last 6 months, or Last 12 months. This affects the view you see for Overview and Recent Activity, detailed below:
Overview
The overview cards display money that has been Billed, is Pending, and has been Paid in the selected time. Click on the View all link on a card to view all Invoices and also filter on time.
Recent Activity
Here, you will find a list of all the Estimates, Quotes, and Invoices that you have recently worked on. Click on the link in the Type column to open the item, or click on the Address link to view the location of the job in Google maps. To changes which items are visible, use the time select list to update the list.
Upcoming Appointments
Toolbot shows you all your upcoming appointments for the day ahead, so you always know where and when you need to be. Use the Calendar link in the main menu, or select New Appointment from the Quick Links button to create new events.
Quick Links
The Quick Links button in the top, right-hand corner of your Dashboard enables you to jump straight into all areas of Toolbot to start managing your business. Click on the button and select from the following actions:
New Estimate: starts a new estimate that you can complete and send to your customer.
New Quote: begins a new quote that you can fill in and send to a client.
New Stock Item: opens My Catalogue so you can begin adding new items to your list of parts and materials that you use on the job.
New Appointment: goes straight to your Calendar so you can add a new diary appointment.
New Contact: opens your Address Book where you can add a new contact to your directory.
