Detail
Add line items to cost out your estimate or quote.
To edit an existing estimate or quote, in the jobs table, click the Edit icon on the right-hand side of the row of the job you want to edit. This opens the Edit Estimate page.
The Detail tab contains the materials, labour, and certificates required to do the job. For a new quote or estimate, you need to complete the Header tab before working on this tab:

Populate your estimate or quote with the parts and materials, labour, and certificates needed to do this job:
Parts & Materials
Click on the Parts & Materials button to open the pop-up window with all items from your catalogue. Use the Search box to look up an item, or scroll through your catalogue.
In the Quantity column, enter the number of items you need for this job. Toolbot automatically adds this to your estimate or quote.
You can also add an item to your catalogue from this pop-up. Click Add Item to open the Add Item window and complete all the required information. See My Catalogue for further instructions.
Click Close when you have finished adding parts and materials.
Labour
Click on the Labour button to open the pop-up window with all your Labour Rates. Use the Search box to look up an item, or scroll through your catalogue.
In the Quantity column, enter a number against the rate. Toolbot automatically adds this to your estimate or quote.
You can amend the cost in the Rate (£) textbox by changing the value. This will also update the rate for future estimates and quotes.
Click Close when you have finished adding your labour rates.
Certificates
If you need to issue a certificate for the work, click on the Certificates button to open the pop-up window to display a list of the Certificates in your price list.
From the list, select the certificate, and then click Add. Repeat this process for multiple certificates.
Removing Items
To remove a line item from your estimate or quote, simply click the bin icon on the right-hand side of the line item. In the confirmation window, click Yes to continue and remove it, or Cancel to exit and keep the item.
Click Terms & Conditions to move to the next tab.
